Welcome to October WABBLES, we’re officially in the spooky time of the year. Currently the only scare I’ve got for you is some above average warmer temperatures. Don’t break the flannel out quiet yet because we’ve got it all in today’s forecast.

Today’s Forecast

If you thought that the first day of October meant you got to break out the sweatshirts. I will have you know maybe in the evenings, but the days aren’t there yet. Our high for today is looking to be in the upper 80’s and plenty of sunshine to brighten up your day. On a good note, our dew points will fall over today and tomorrow making it feel very comfortable outside.

Warmer Temperatures Sticking around

Tomorrow we’re sticking with this trend we’ve been seeing. A high in the mid to upper 80’s and that good old-fashioned sunshine. Like I said before these dewpoints are going to slowly drop down, and this is hinting at a slight cool off to drop those temperatures a few degrees.

That cool off on Friday comes in the form of a high in the low 80’s and can you guess what we’ve got that’s right more sunshine. Our evening temperatures look to cool into the low 50’s. You may be wondering “How long will these warmer temperatures stay; I want my fall weather?”

Listen I’m just the messenger, but sweater weather isn’t here quite yet, and it may be some time before it truly is. The average October temperature is 72 degrees in Bowling Green, and if you have paid attention this far, you’d know we’re not quite there. Reagan talked about on Monday how over this weekend into next week we’ll be above average, but it looks to go even further than that. The Climate Prediction Center shows above average temperatures for this month.

WABBLES, that’s the story we’ve got for you today as we kick off October. It’s going to be warmer for a little while longer and fall hasn’t truly come knocking on the door quite yet. Stay up to date with anything going on using our Twitter, and I hope you have a great rest of your day.
