Good Monday morning, WABBLES! I hope you have enjoyed the perfect and sunny weekend, because it’s not over yet. Compared to last week, we are looking at a much calmer work week as we close out the month of September.

Today’s Forecast
As high pressure continues to build to our northwest, those clear and sunny days will stick around a bit longer. The morning commute is looking beautiful, with cool temperatures and spotless skies. Today’s highs stay a bit warm, with temperatures in the low to mid-80s. Although it won’t be incredibly muggy (dewpoints stay in the 50s to the lower 60s), it may still feel a bit toasty with the plentiful sunshine and high temperatures. Light winds from the northeast will keep things breezy today.

Expect to see your typical summertime cloud development this afternoon. Skies begin to clear as the sun sets, and overnight lows are expected to drop back into the lower 60s to upper 50s across the WABBLES region.
Warm and Dry Pattern Continues
Similar to today, Tuesday’s weather is expected to remain sunny and pleasant. High temperatures climb back into the mid-80s, another warm day across WABBLES. Some fluffy cumulus clouds are expected to develop over the region, but skies stay calm and mostly sunny.

Winds from the northeast can help keep things breezy, but could get a bit gusty at times. Skies begin to clear again as we head into the overnight hours on Tuesday, and low temperatures fall back into the lower 60s.
With that being said, our lack of precipitation also reflects a fall-like vibe. As an upper-level ridge continues to build to our west, we’ll continue to see these warm, calm, but dry days. Models are hinting towards a very dry work week, as that moisture from the Atlantic storms just may not be able to reach this far.

The Climate Prediction Center 6-10 day outlook outlines that the WABBLES region is leaning below average in precipitation and above average in temperature.

Hang in there, WABBLES; we are slowly but surely transitioning back into that fall-like weather. As always, it is important to remain weather aware, even on calm days like this week. You can follow our social media to view more details on this week’s weather! Stay cool out there!
