WABBLES, I know every one of you read that title and said, “oh yes, my two favorite things.” On a better note, right after these storms pass there will be a slight cold front that pushes through. I’m sure everyone’s a little antsy to know how bad this severe weather will be and how hot it’s about to get. Buckle up everyone, we’re going to get right into all of your WABBLES weather knowledge to close out the week.

Todays Weather
Well, the way it’s looking is that all of WABBLES is in a 2/5 slight risk. All threats are on the table throughout the day. We may see some individual isolated thunderstorms followed by the mesoscale convective system(MCS) that is driven by the cold front. Isolated thunderstorms look to start after 2PM today and the MCS system looks to push through around 7-8PM.

We’re still looking at a hot and muggy day today as you’d expect with storms pushing in. High temperatures in the upper 80’s and dewpoints in the low to mid 70’s looks to make for a good time out there sweating.
What about this Heat
First WABBLES we have to deal with this cold front that comes through and drops our high temperature tomorrow to the whopping low 80’s. Some rain and a thunderstorm or two is possible tomorrow, however nothing severe to be concerned about. The only concern is the rainfall on our already saturated ground.

Friday will begin our high temperature climb, as temperatures look to be back in the upper 80’s. The sun is back through, and all of this rain looks to be finished as we head into our weekend. Stay safe WABBLES with these high temperatures.

As Reagan said on Monday this hot, humid thing we got going on is sticking around. With that you need to make sure you stay safe and be aware of your health when working outside. Make sure you stay hydrated and take frequent breaks, to ensure you don’t overexert yourself. By doing this and being aware of the people you are with health can prevent any heat related injuries. The Center for Disease Control has more on their website.

That’s all I have for you guys today. I know we’re looking at a severe threat this afternoon into tonight, so make sure you stay aware and updated with our Twitter. We will keep an eye on the sky for you, so you can keep an eye on your health in this heat and humidity. Stay safe out there and keep those notifications on, see you all later.
