Good morning my friends! I hope everyone had a great New Year’s Day and are ready for the rest of the first week of 2024. The weather for today and the rest of the work week looks to be rather quiet and chilly before rain chances return this weekend.

WABBLES Work Week

This work week looks to be pretty boring from a weather perspective. High pressure will be dominating over the region keeping any substantial precipitation away. This will also keep temperatures pretty consistently in the mid 40s for highs.

Long Range

Looking towards this weekend is where things get interesting. We have a system poised to move through Saturday and into Sunday. Snow chances for WABBLES remains low, but not impossible. Rain still looks to be the more likely scenario.

Sometime early to mid next week we will see another system move through the area which will likely result in all rain for WABBLES. This system is much further out and significant changes are possible, but highly unlikely.

That will be all for today folks! I hope everyone enjoys the wonderful and quiet weather this work week as well as the new year. As always I highly encourage everyone to visit our social media accounts @wxornotBG for the latest.
