Good Tuesday Morning everyone out there across WABBLES! I hope everyone is doing great out there and are staying warm, despite the cold temperatures. It will thankfully get a bit warmer this week and we will remain dry for most of the work week.

As of about 10am this morning, much of the commonwealth is hovering in the low 30s with a few spots in the 20s. Coats will be needed for the commute and throughout the day for sure.

Current Frigid Temps (KY Mesonet)

Keeping with the temperatures, today will remain in the mid-upper 30s around WABBLES making for an overall cold experience. Things will warm up tomorrow leading to highs in the 50s for the remainder of the week.

High pressure will be locked in over the WABBLES region for the majority of the work week allowing for dry conditions and plenty of sunshine. Too bad today will be cold, though.

Our Solid Friend High Pressure (WPC)

Thursday night is when the high pressure will start to break down and a system will begin moving through the region. Currently this doesn’t look like it will be a largely impactful system, but we will be monitoring it.
