Good morning and a happy Halloween folks! I hope everyone around WABBLES is staying warm on this cold morning. We should see plenty of sun this afternoon making for a beautiful day, but temperatures won’t get out of the 40s most likely, a chilly Halloween.
Halloween Forecast
One piece of good news for the trick or treaters tonight is that there aren’t any chances of rain for the next several days. Our friend high pressure is watching over us and making sure things are quiet around WABBLES.
On the downside, temperatures going into tonight will not be very pleasant. Starting as early as 5:00pm, temps will dip back into the 30s and continue to drop as we go into the night. By 8:00pm, temps will be hovering right around freezing.
To make things worse, gusty winds will be moving in late this afternoon and lasting on and off through this evening and tonight. Peek time for winds looks to be between 4:00pm and 8:00pm where winds could gust as high as 20mph.
Taking the gusty winds into consideration, wind chills will dip into the mid-upper 20s throughout this evening. So, anyone trick or treating tonight will need to be thoroughly bundled up.
The rest of the Week
The forecast for the rest of the work week is pretty simple, plenty of sun with temperatures gradually increasing every day. Overall, a pretty nice Autumn week is ahead of us.
