Happy Thursday WABBLES and a very good morning to you all. Today and tomorrow we can expect rain showers, along with a few thunderstorms possible as well. It seems this week only had one sunny day in store for us, and that the fall weather is really starting to kick in!

Rainy Days and Nights

We can expect rain showers to start roughly around lunchtime (11-12) and continue throughout most of the day. A cold front heading towards the Ohio Valley will bring not only rain, but a few thunderstorms as well roughly beginning late this evening. Thunderstorms are not expected to be severe , but a few can be accompanied with some higher winds and harder rain.

Cold Front Bringing Rain (WPC)

Rain will continue on and off into tomorrow morning, and finally bring clearer skies leading into Friday night.

CLear and Sunny Weekend

Saturday we can expect all the weather to finally be cleared up, with sunny skies. However, due to post frontal passage, there will be some relatively faster winds, with speeds reaching into the 20’s! The cooler temperatures will be back into the lower 40’s, seemingly much cooler than this past week.

Stronger winds, lower temps, and drier air into Saturday evening. (Pivotal Weather)

Along with these winds and temperatures, the air will be much drier since the rain has passed and high pressure taking over, leaving it to feel even nicer outside!

Sunday Looking Chilly

Sunday is when the really cold temperatures will start to set in. Highs will be just in the 60’s, and the lower temperatures will yet again, be within the lower 40’s. However, with some sunny skies it won’t feel AS cold since the sun will be beaming down.

Low temperature Sunday near 43. (Pivotal Weather)

High pressure will be directly over WABBLES, bringing fair weather for a while, heading into the beginning of the week. Winds will be relatively calmer in comparison to Saturday.

High pressure taking over (WPC)

Aside from today and Friday, everything else is looking good! Don’t forget to pack those umbrellas, ponchos, and all of your wet weather gear for classes today for you students out there.
