Happy Wednesday, WABBLES. I know we’ve had a crazy start to our week, but things are looking to return to normal, including temperatures dropping back down. Let’s get right into what we’ve got to end our week.

Temperatures are easing down a notch (Tenor)

Today’s Forecast

We’re going to start our day off on a soggy note, with showers continuing from last night. Showers will become more scattered as the morning progresses, and we will be all clear by the early to mid-afternoon. With things starting to clear out, we’ll see a gusty northwesterly wind develop with speeds between 15 and 20mph as the cold front rolls through this morning. Our high for today will reach around the upper 60’s and low 70’s.

Showers and storms this morning with the cold front moving in (COD).

TEmperatures on a downward trend

Thursday, we’ll see temperatures continue their downward trend to below average. High pressure will start to build up, and we’re looking at a gorgeous day. Our high will be in the upper 60’s, and under sunny skies.

Cooler temperatures are making their way down to WABBLES (COD).

Friday, we introduce the chance of rain back into the forecast. WABBLES, we’re looking at some synoptic-level forcing that will bring showers to the area. These showers, however, have to compete with dry air, so precipitation will be light, and we can expect decent cloud cover. Our high for Friday is 66 degrees.

Some light showers try their best (COD)

Looking at what the beginning of May will look like, this weekend we remain clear with temperatures still below average. Next week, temperatures look to stick around average. We will also continue to see more rainfall, potentially removing some of the drought that we have going on.

Temperatures are taking a break (CPC).

WABBLES, as the cold front passes through this morning, we enter a time of more normal temperatures. We continue to get some rain as we prepare for May flowers over the next few days. Stay updated on our social media so you don’t get caught out in the rain, and we’ll see you later.

Have a great end to your week (Tenor)!
