Good morning WABBLES, I hope your morning is starting off great. I know you’re tired of the cold being back in town and it will try its best to leave but we do get some rain in its attempt. You can shed a layer, but you are going to need to bring out the umbrella. We’ve got it all for you in today’s blog.
Today’s Weather
Kicking off today we’re currently around 49 degrees under mostly cloudy skies. Today our temperatures will battle across the region with a weak cold front to our north that will push through into tonight. Our high today will reach the upper 60’s by today but we don’t get spared from the cloudy skies. Rain chances for today continue to weaken due to dry low levels of the atmosphere but we could see a light shower later this morning. Wind gusts today will also pick up to 25-30mph.
Tonight, our chances of showers increase after about 6PM. Temperatures will fall to the low 40’s.
Rain, Rain go away
Thursday morning the rain will continue until around noon. Temperatures will be cooler after the cold front that passed through bringing our high to around 55 degrees. Once these showers pass, we’ll see our cloud cover start to dissolve by the late afternoon.
Friday the high pressure starts to set up. We’ll finally get to see sunny skies and a high in the low 60’s. This is the kind of forecast we’ve all been waiting for this week. This high pressure will stay in place through Saturday until another cold front passes through.
After this high-pressure system moves out, we may see several systems over the next week bring more rain to the area. While temperatures look to remain above average the Climate Prediction Center shows precipitation above average for next week for WABBLES.
