WABBLES, I hope you’ve thawed out with warmer temperatures in the mix for the next couple of days. You know we have to add some spice in December. Colder temperatures will try to fight back with some storms, but they don’t know the power of Kentucky weather.

Today’s Weather
We’ll see those warmer temperatures continue to push their way into our conversations today. With a high in the low 50’s we’ll be well above average for this time of the year. Some clouds and scattered light showers will kick off our day, but these will decrease throughout the day breaking back out the sunshine.

The Battle for Warmer Temperatures
WABBLES, in the month of December, you know we can’t keep these temperatures going for very long without some disturbance. That’s the case for your Thursday; to start out the day you’re going to want to wear your lead shoes to work. Winds will be sweeping through WABBLES between 20-25 mph.

We all know that when those temperatures climb into the upper 50’s like they will today. Mother nature will smack those temperatures out of here and leave us wondering what happened to her good mood. We are looking at the chance for some storms on Thursday; we are currently at a 1/5 marginal risk for some strong to severe storms with damaging wind gusts being the threat.

Just as any cold front would do, Friday our temperatures get put back in their place. Our high will fall into the upper 30’s, so still not too bad for this time of year. It will definitely make you miss the near 60’s from the day before.
If you’re really enjoy these warmer temperatures, then I have the best news for you. The heat miser is sticking around for the holiday season and we’re taking a little trip to July in Christmas. Above average temperatures are alluding to a green Christmas this year.

WABBLES, that’s the good word on the street is that these warmer temperatures are making a comeback. We’ll see a run in with some gusty storms tomorrow, so follow us on Twitter and secure the trampoline. Go get your Christmas shopping done and we’ll see you next time.
