WABBLES, welcome to one of the worst travel days in the entire year. I hope you’ve got your grocery shopping all done for this holiday season and don’t need to go out into the crowds of people. Our Thanksgiving this year is coming in with a cool down, so I hope your grateful for that new jacket because you’re going to need it.

Today’s Weather

Today we’re going to see that shift in temperatures, where yesterday was quite comfortable, we’re going to see those temperatures drop. Our high for today will be in the upper 40’s, but we’re going to see some wind gusts between 20-25 mph that will drop our feels like. It may end up feeling more in the low 40’s to upper 30’s, but on the bright side we do get our dose of the sun back.

Watch high winds on some of those highways as you make your travel today. If you drive a high-profile vehicle it can be difficult to maintain control. Other than the winds it will be a beautiful travel day.

The winds will be whipping on this travel day. (COD)

Holiday Forecast

It does look like any chance that we would see snow this Thanksgiving has been gobbled up. We’re looking at a beautiful day to be grateful for with sunshine to go all around. While our high will still be in the upper 40’s making for a chilly holiday. Those winds do look to calm down, and we won’t see as much of an impact with our feels like temperatures.

Ah yes, Black Friday as you make your way to camp out that one store at 2am, you’re going to want those extra layers. Overnight temperatures could get into the low 20’s, and clear skies will make it feel even colder. We will see it warm up into the low 40’s with another sunny day that you can use to start getting those Christmas decorations out.

Cold temperatures will persist through the holiday. (COD)

We start to transition from one holiday to the next heading into December. I know everyone’s going to be asking about what comes after the cold and what can we expect for December. It will definitely be on the more normal side of things. We look to start off below average, which for Bowling Green is around the low 50’s. We do look to start getting closer to average moving forward.

Things are about to get a little colder. (CPC)
