Good Monday morning, WABBLES! After a somewhat dreary and drizzly weekend, calmer weather is on the way as high pressure is settling back into WABBLES. While you may still need that jacket on these chilly mornings, high temperatures are looking much warmer mid-week.

Today’s Forecast
Thanks to the west-to-east upper air flow keeping storm systems away, we’ll remain dry for much of the work week. We’re starting the morning chilly with temperatures in the mid to upper 30s, but the increased sunshine today will help warm temperatures back into the mid-50s. Skies remain mostly clear today, with some breezy west winds making it a bit chilly.

Heading into the evening, the beautiful weather holds tight. However, now that clocks have fallen back and the sun sets earlier in the evening, temperatures begin to quickly cool into the upper to mid-40s after dinnertime. While skies remain clear, overnight lows continue to creep back into the upper 30s tonight.
Warming up for the week
The morning commute for Tuesday is looking rather chilly as well, with temperatures starting in the upper 30s across the region. We’ll remain dry as well on Tuesday and will be mostly sunny once the morning clouds roll out. Afternoon high temperatures return to the upper 50s to low 60s, with a cool breeze from the southeast.

Temperatures dip back to the upper to mid 40s Tuesday evening, before overnight lows fall back to the lower 40s.
For Wednesday, WABBLES is welcoming back high temperatures in the upper 60s to lower 70s. Winds shift to a mild southwesterly flow, helping temperatures stay warm but also increasing our moisture levels again. The weather remains pleasant, and the sun continues to shine for now.

Thursday’s weather remains calm, and temperatures climb back into the mid-60s. However, this quiet weather won’t last forever as another system is set to move in overnight, causing some showers to develop early Friday morning.

Heading into the weekend, moisture remains prominent, and this system keeps our rain chances high. We’ll continue to monitor this system throughout the week, but for now, keep those jackets handy in the morning, and enjoy the beautiful afternoons!
