Good Monday morning, WABBLES! I hope you enjoyed last week’s gorgeous weather, because we have fallen back into our wet and chilly fall pattern. A developing low-pressure system to our west is set to bring in some more dreary weather, before finally clearing out and cooling down for Halloweekend!

Today’s Forecast
As yesterday’s system continues to move to the northeast, our Monday morning remains gloomy. Light to moderate rain will continue to fall throughout the morning before thinning out by the afternoon.

With presistant cloud cover today, our high temperatures won’t warm up much past our overnight lows. Temperatures throughout the day and night will remain in the low to mid-50s. This afternoon and evening will remain cool and drizzly, but we will see less of the consistent rainfall like this morning.

High temperatures remain in the mid to upper 50s once again on Tuesday, as our cloudy skies keep that cool air trapped in WABBLES. Moisture remains prominent in the region, and pockets of drizzle are likely to continue to show their faces. But for the most part, we’ll remain less soggy throughout the day on Tuesday.

More Rain to Come
Thanks to a developing pinwheeling low-pressure system to our west, our rain chances increase again on Wednesday. This system will move just south of us but will continue to pull moisture from the south into WABBLES. This added moisture will aid in the development of widespread rainfall across the region.

This rain will continue for most of the day on Wednesday with rainfall totals ranging from 1-2 inches across the WABBLES region. As this system continues eastward, our temperatures will begin to cool with highs falling into the lower 50s.
Light rain continues into Wednesday evening before the pinwhelling low finally spins out of the region by Thursday morning. Overnight lows fall back into the mid to lower 40s Wednesday into Thursday.

Skies start to lighten up after this system passes, and the sun shows its face again for the spooky holiday this Friday. We’ll be keeping it dry and slightly warmer on Friday with afternoon temperatures in the upper 50s to lower 60s. However, temperatures remain quite chilly as we head into the peak trick-or-treating hours this Halloween, so be sure to bundle up!
Even though it’s looking a bit gray, it’s all part of that cozy fall vibe. Keep those layers handy, and we’ll dry things out just in time for the spooky weekend!
