Good Monday morning, WABBLES! We’re looking at another beautiful start to the week as high pressure continues to settle over the region. Temperatures remain slightly above October’s average, but we are still in for those crisp fall mornings and pleasant afternoons.

Today’s Forecast

We’re starting the morning off a bit chilly again, with temperatures in the lower to mid to upper 40s across WABBLES. Today’s high temperatures are expected to climb back into the mid-70s, and skies remain mostly sunny throughout the day. Dewpoints in the upper 40s to lower 50s make for your typical, but slightly warmer, fall-like day today.

Warm, but not too warm. (Pivotal Weather)

As the sun begins to set, we’ll keep those beautiful and clear skies throughout the night. Temperatures will fall back into the lower 60s this evening before overnight lows creep back into the lower 50s and upper 40s.

Beautiful Weather Carries On

Like today, Tuesday’s weather is looking just as pleasant. High temperatures climb back into the mid-70s with light winds from the northeast keeping a cooling breeze. Humidity also stays in check, as those winds from the northeast keep the WABBLES region’s dewpoints low and conditions dry.

As we head into Tuesday night, skies stay clear with calm conditions continuing. Light winds and these clear skies will help quickly drop temperatures back into the lower 50s across the region.

This pattern remains stagnant through Wednesday and Thursday, as more high pressure from the north continues to build over the region. Skies will stay mostly clear, and temperatures will remain comfortable in the 70s range.

Additionally, a front from the north is set to move across the region on Wednesday night. Although it won’t lower our temperatures drastically, it will sweep a bit more moisture out, continuing to dry out the atmosphere.

Drier air continues to push south. (Pivotal Weather)

However, this lovely and calm system won’t last forever. As we head into the weekend, our rain chances are expected to increase from another approaching northwest front. Southerly winds begin to bring back our moist and warmer air, and cloud cover begins to increase on Friday.

By Saturday evening, the front will begin to push in. The increased lift, moist air, and warm temperatures all aid in developing some rain and possibly stronger storms across the region.

A cold front tries to whip some action into WABBLES. (Pivotal Weather)

We’ll continue to monitor our rain and storm potential as the weekend approaches, but for now, enjoy the beautiful weather this week! Although we all enjoy these beautiful days, a rainy weekend is always refreshing for the dry region. As always, remember to stay weather-aware as we progress through the fall season.
