Happy holidays WABBLES!! It has been quite a tranquil week for us, especially since the first day of winter has passed. If you are looking for a white Christmas this year, unfortunately the snow has decided west of the Mississippi. The weather in our region will be nice but Saint Nick will have to grab a raincoat as he makes his way to the homes in our neighborhood. Find out when the rain will arrive in your area during your weekend forecast.

Holiday

Hoping for two years of snow. we’ll get it next time hopefully (GIPHY)

Friday

Our holiday weekend will have breezy start with southern winds keeping us company. A few clouds will dot our sunny skies as we will see highs in the 50s for our Friday. Perfect weather for any outdoor plans you may have for the day. Cloud cover increases throughout the afternoon to give us mostly cloudy skies in the evening. It will be a cool overnight with lows in the 40s with a slight chance of rain showers.

lots of active weather with a low-pressure system headed our way. (WPC)

Saturday

Last minute holiday shopping might come with a few raindrops. A slight chance of rain showers throughout the day accompanied by mostly cloudy skies. Another round of highs in the 50s along with our friendly southern breeze will provide most of us with another relaxing day. We might catch a few glimpses of the moon as skies remain mostly cloudy with our lows dropping back into the 40s for the overnight hours.

As the system moves in it will keep our rain chances low but never zero (WPC)

Sunday

Let’s kick the holiday spirit into full gear with a nice and relaxing Sunday morning. A slight decrease in cloud coverage will give way to partly cloudy skies and highs in the 60s for our region. Beautiful day for everyone in the region. Another slight chance of showers for the afternoon hours that will increase as we head into the evening hours. With lows in the 50s and rain showers for our overnight, we should leave Santa a cup of hot chocolate as he visits us during Christmas Eve.

Active weather systems finally move into our area. potentially giving us a wet Christmas day (WPC)

This wraps up our holiday weekend forecast. Enjoy yourselves with the nice weather this weekend and make sure to drive safely when the rain showers enter our area. We will be wrapping another year with 2024 knocking on our doors. I wish everyone a happy and merry Christmas while hoping Santa manages to stay nice and dry as he delivers gifts. Let’s see how this weather holds up as we ring in the New Year next weekend. Until next time, stay classy WABBLES

Christmas light shows are probably one of my favorite things to see. (GIPHY)
