Good morning to everyone out there across WABBLES! I hope everyone had a great Monday and are ready for another great day. There isn’t a whole lot to talk about in weather terms as a quiet weather pattern returns.

Saturday Event Review

This past Saturday, WABBLES and surrounding areas experienced an outbreak of severe weather. Several Tornado Warnings and a few Severe Thunderstorm Warnings were issued for WABBLES communities.

Just Under 200 Warnings for the Day

Unfortunately, several tornadoes occurred, affecting several communities in and out of WABBLES. For us, there was a long tracked EF2 that originated in Tennessee and moved through southern Logan County. The same storm would produce an EF1 tornado in the southern parts of Bowling Green.

Quiet Weather

Looking at the forecast for the work week, we can expect a whole lot of nothing. Once again, high pressure will be keeping us clear from any weather makers and open for plenty of sunshine.

A Wonderful Frontal Chart (WPC)

As far as temperatures are concerned, starting today they should hover in the low 50s which is just above average for us. All in all, pretty mild for December.
