Good morning, and Happy Thursday WABBLES! The past few days have been storm and rain filled, and this barbie-land has more in store for us today. However, we seem to be in the clear for severe storms compared to yesterday and the day before. Read more to understand why you should stay inside your mojo dojo casa house this Thursday.

Hi Barbie! (Yes, this post is somewhat Barbie themed) (GIPHY)

FRONT PASSES, STORMS LINGER

Wednesday night’s front passing through will leave a few rain chances in the morning, however most of this will pass very briefly. The cold front being just east of WABBLES will leave rain and storm chances possible throughout most of the day though. Most activity will be done before the afternoon/evening, leavinng tonight farily calm, but still a bit muggy.

Cold front to the East of WABBLES leaves remaining storms (WPC)

We can expect today to still be relatively warm, with a high in the lows 80’s and a low of just near 68o in the night. Skies will be partly cloudy in the evening, still having a bit of clearing from the clouds from the day showers. Quantitative precipitation amounts for the area will be near an inch, so relatively low.

No pink areas for us Barbies! Just blue (an inch) (WPC)

SKIES CLEAR UP INTO FRIDAY

Tomorrow will be a great day, as the skies will finally be storm-free and sunny! Temps will begin to warm up slightly, in the mid to upper 80’s, and our evening lows finally being in the 70’s again. Summer will be normal, and we can resume our normal outdoor activities. No more staying holed up in the dreamhouse of us WABBLErS!

SHORT LIVED QUIET PERIOD

While Friday looks relatively calm, another frontal boundary will begin making its way towards the region Saturday, bringing more storms and rain yet again. This summer has been pretty active recently weather wise, and it doesn’t seem like mother nature is letting up any time soon. As of now, the SPC does not have any information on if these storms are expected to be severe or not. More updates to follow. These will continue into the beginning of next week as well, so make your plans for tomorrow!

Storms approaching from the NW on Saturday (Pivotal Weather)
