Today

Overall, today looks to be very boring and uneventful around WABBLES. Scattered clouds will be present throughout the day, but we should remain dry with highs in the mid 80s.

A wonderful Day Ahead (Pivotal Weather)

Severe weather chances

Currently, the SPC has WABBLES in a Marginal (level 1/5) to Slight (level 2/5) for severe weather. The biggest concern is for damaging winds and a tornado or two.

Marginal to Slight Severe Weather Chances (SPC)

The models, as per usual, have been disagreeing with each other a fair bit with how this threat will evolve. Currently, it looks like our best chances will be in the evening to overnight hours after morning/afternoon showers.

A Scattered Mess of Thunderstorms is Expected (Pivotal Weather)

The ingredients are all there for severe weather, but the fine details will still need to be figured out. The majority of these details should become clearer into today into tonight. Regardless, we will need to stay weather aware tomorrow.

Stay Weather Aware Tomorrow (SPC)

That will be all for this blog my friends! I hope everyone enjoys the quiet weather today before storms arrive tomorrow night. Follow our socials, @wxornotBG, for the latest with the severe weather risk.

Have a blessed day!
