The Storm Prediction Center currently has us under a marginal risk for severe weather, with the biggest threat being winds. Storms will begin to approach the WABBLES region in the afternoon, roughly around 4 p.m. Most of these storms and rain will not be clear from the area until around 10 p.m as well, with everything mostly occurring in the afternoon. Aside from this, the sun will still make its appearance!

Storms Continuing Into The Weekend

Heading into Friday, WABBLES can yet again expect favorable conditions for rain and even some thunderstorms to occur as well. Throughout the day, these chances will be near 30%, whereas the chances increase drastically heading into the afternoon, more than likely due to convection. Skies will be mostly sunny before the storms roll in and temperatures yet again into the 90’s.

Saturday will not have a significant chance of storms, although important to not completely rule out. Saturday will have showers present ahead of an approaching surface cold front, with chances of rain at 80%. The WPC has the Quantitative Precipitation amounts around an inch possible.
