Hey Alexa, play “Stormy Weather” by Etta James! Good morning WABBLES, and Happy Taco Tuesday! The past two days have brought rain and a few light thunderstorms into WABBLES and will sadly be continuing throughout a majority of the week. If you had plans for any outdoor events, maybe it is time to reconsider….

It’s gonna rain! Tacos…? (GIPHY)

Tuesday Outlook

Today there will be intermittent showers throughout most of the day with the thunderstorm chances increasing in the WABBLES region in the late afternoon and into the evening. Temperatures throughout today will not have a large difference, with a maximum temp of 82 expected and a low of just 67 degrees. Dew points throughout the day will remain in the upper 60’s maintaining a bit of mugginess. Yuck!

Stromhger showers/Thunderstorms around 8pm and into the evening. (Pivotal Weather)

Decaying System Brings Rain

Throughout the rest of the week, rain and thunderstorm chances will remain prevalent as the decaying low pressure system slightly to the east will maintain its position. Roughly around Friday-Saturday the system will finally begin pushing more eastward and start to clear the region finally.

Saturday high pressure over Western Kentucky (WPC)

Temperatures throughout the rest of the week will remain fairly mild and near the same, with highs in the upper 70’s and lower 80’s. Lows will remain in the mid to upper 60’s as well. After the high pressure moves over the area however, another low pressure system will begin to track towards Kentucky again as well. Looks like we’ll have a relatively active pattern as far as rain goes for WABBLES!
