Kentucky has been experiencing drought conditions, and WABBLES is no exception, with more colors starting to appear on the drought monitor…*sigh*. The lack of rainfall has left us parched, like the desert without its oasis. But fear not, as hope is on the horizon!
Rainy Respite on the Way
Starting Sunday and continuing into next week, an active weather pattern is set to bring much-needed relief to the drought-stricken region. This is thanks to an annoying upper-level low, which typically overstay their welcome, pinwheeling over the same region for multiple days.
Showers and thunderstorms are expected to become more frequent, acting as the knights in shining armor coming to rescue us from the dry spell. It’s like Aquaman has answered our distress call, ready to drench us in much-needed rainfall.
