WABBLES, we made it through some windy times last night. We saw some gust in the upper 60 mph range accompanying all that rain. With that being said the winds aren’t over and neither is the precipitation. As a cold front brings us cold company snow has entered the game. Stay with this as we got it all for you today.

Windy Wednesday
For those of you who haven’t been outside yet today, for when you do, you’re going to want to hold onto those hats and umbrellas. WABBLES we are currently under a wind advisory. To start our day, we’ll be looking at temperatures in the low 50’s, but as this cold front works its way through these will drop into the low 30’s. With those high winds, we can’t forget about our windchill. As the evening time comes around those feel like temperatures may be in the mid 20’s.
Wind today will be between 20-25 mph with some gust reaching upwards of 40 mph. Throughout today we’ll see some isolated showers into the afternoon hours. Stay aware of high wind gust could impact driving or outdoor activities. Tonight WABBLES, you may be greeted by some snow. It won’t cause any problems into Thursday just a pretty sight.

Quiet Times Ahead
After this crazy mess of wind, rain and snow is finished, we can finally breathe. Tomorow our sun comes back out across WABBLES, and temperatures will start to climb again. With a high in the upper 40’s and the winds calming down, this shows the ridging pattern starting to work its way into WABBLES. Friday, we continue this pattern of quiet weather. Temperatures will hit the low 60’s with those mostly sunny skies out there.

While times ahead may be quiet ahead, it is Severe Weather Awareness Week here in Kentucky. Today’s focus in on warning reception and we see severe season start to get situated make sure you have a way to get notified of it all. This could be your phone, a weather radio or your TV. As well as Friday at 9:07 AM CST, under sunny skies, there will be a statewide tornado drill. Stay prepared WABBLES, follow our Twitter as way to ensure you never miss a warning.

Hold on for one more day as high wind, rain and that pesky snow show us all the bipolar traits of Kentucky weather.
