Good morning WABBLES, you made it halfway through this beautiful week we have going for us. As we get one month into fall, we see some warmer temperatures come to visit us once again. We will continue this trend of warmer afternoons followed by those cool crisp fall evenings. As we go through the next couple days the high pressure continues to dominate the region, but how long will this continue. When will the next cold front come through and what all to expect as we close out our week. Hang tight WABBLES, as we jump into today’s blog.
Todays Forecast
Today is about as beautiful as it can get. Highs today will welcome us into the low 80’s as we move into the afternoon with plenty of sunshine to fill our day. This is a great day to go outside and do enjoy fall activities and finish up setting up those haunted decorations for next week. As we roll into tonight temperatures will dip down into the lower 60’s before midnight.
How much fall is ahead
As we move towards the weekend we will see a bit of a roller coaster with our high temperatures ahead. Fluctuations in the jet stream today through Saturday will bounce our highs each day between the low 80’s and the low 70’s. While tomorrow’s temperature drop won’t bring any precipitation there is a chance creeping in the forecast for Friday night as that next true cold front starts to move through the area. This is good example of how flexible fall weather can be in Kentucky this time of year.
However, even with a possible cool down ahead the Climate Prediction Center is still saying that we will remain above average when it comes to temperatures. This will remain true through the holiday next week and into the beginning of November.
Well, WABBLES we have a few quiet fall days ahead for you. While temperatures may be on a bit of a roller coaster ride, the sun will shine, and the nights will be cool and crisp ahead of us. Go outside and enjoy all the orchards you can find in the WABBLES area or jump into that pile of leaves you took hours to rake.
