WABBLES June is treating us right until it chooses not to. We have escaped the trap of the cooler air that was lingering around and have found the upper 80’s. The sunshine will for sure be around for one more day, so let me hurry this up and get outside to enjoy today.

Todays Weather

When I told you today would be warm, I wasn’t kidding. We’re looking at the upper 80’s and some clouds. Dew points will increase throughout the day but nothing enough to make it miserable outside. Towards the evening there is the slightest chance of a pop-up shower after 6 for some of WABBLES and temperatures in the mid 70’s.

Wheres the thunderstorms?

If this is the question you’re asking as you try and make your end of the week grand plans, here it is. we start out with a chance of rain in the late morning hours, and these will develop into thunderstorms by the afternoon. These storms will then continue into the evening hours and transition back into rain. The high for tomorrow will be in the mid 80’s. We’re under a 1/5 marginal risk tomorrow with damaging winds being the biggest threat.

Friday will also be a chance of spotty showers and thunderstorms throughout the day. With a high nearly the same as Thursday, we close out the week with a stormy day. Friday we’re under a 2/5 slight risk, while we don’t know the exact threat yet stay tuned later in the week to find out. I hate to keep raining on your parade if one of your plans was to go to the Duncan Hines festival in downtown Bowling Green, but the weekend isn’t looking up.

Friday night through Saturday we’re looking at a chance for some showers and thunderstorms. This becomes spottier towards the evening hours. Sunday there’s a slight chance of a spotty shower or two, but I wouldn’t worry about these much. With all of these storms and showers we’ll see temperatures dive all the way down to the low 80’s.

WABBLES we’re just looking at those late spring thunderstorms that like to roll through on hot days. Minor severe risk out there tomorrow and Friday, so stay up to date on timing and changing conditions with our Twitter and Friday’s blog. I hope you all have a great end to your week and bask in one more day of uninterrupted sunshine. I’ll catch all of you great people later.
