WABBLES we are back in business heading into the middle of our week. I hope you’re ready for June to come rolling in after this week. We’ve been dealing with some cooler than average temperatures across the area, but the warmup is coming. First, we just have to get through some pesky rain and temperature swings. With that let’s jump right into it like that pool you’ve been itching to get into.

Todays Weather
Well, we get right into with today’s weather. In the morning hours you may have heard some rumbles of thunder as these storms look to weaken as they get to WABBLES. There may be some fog on your way to work this morning so drive safe. Heading into the afternoon some thunderstorms may roll in and be possible into the evening.
Our high today looks to reach the mid 70’s and drop into the upper 60’s into the night hours. It’ll be partly sunny in between those spotty thunderstorms and rain throughout the day.

The Shift comes with Rain
The shift is the best way to put what’s about to happen. Tomorrow we’re looking at a high near 80 with partly sunny skies until about 4PM. The low pressure works its way north and drags a slight cold front along with it. Hope you enjoyed that 80-degree day while it lasted. Temperatures will drop into the 60’s as the front passes.
Friday we’re looking at another thunderstorm risk. None of these storms will carry any severe risk with them. These thunderstorms will be scattered throughout the day until around 7PM. It’s looking like our high will be in the low 70’s after that front came through and ruined the fun. With two days of May left though it gets better.

To close out May and head into June as we kick off meteorological summer, we’ll take a look at what our summer outlook is looking like. The Climate Prediction Center put on an outlook about two weeks ago for June, July and August that shows a subtle above average temperature pattern for the summer. For WABBLES the average temperature over the three months is 87, so for those of you that like it warmer you’re in luck!

Folks that’s what we’ve got for you. Closing out May springs giving us a taste of what she’s leaving behind with some temperature changes and storms. No sever risk over the next few days but stay up to date with our Twitter with the timing of the rain and storms. I hope you all can enjoy the pockets of sunshine as we make it to the weekend where the sun will be shinning and the temperatures will be better. Stay tuned for the good stuff in Friday’s blog. Have a good rest of your week and peace out WABBLES.
