Good Tuesday morning, WABBLES! I hope you enjoyed yesterday’s beautiful sunny and warm day, because that isn’t lasting long. This week, our rain chances are increasing as another storm system begins to move in. We’ll keep those warm temperatures, but with the cost of some messy weather. We’ll unfold the details of this week in this blog, so let’s dive in!

Let’s get into it! (Giphy)
Today’s Forecast
As I said before, we are going to keep those warm temperatures today with some of WABBLES warming back up into the mid-80s. But as a cold front from the west begins to move in, we’ll start to see some scattered showers and storms pop up this afternoon and evening. The Storm Prediction Center currently has all of the WABBLES region in a slight risk (2/5), so don’t be surprised to hear a few rumbles of thunder tonight! Temperatures will dip back into the mid to lower 60s as we close out the night.

Outlook for the week
That cold front that will try to move in tonight won’t exactly make it all the way to WABBLES, though. It will stall just north of us, and we will keep our warm temperatures for a bit longer. Because it will stall, however, we will see some on-and-off showers the rest of the week as moisture keeps getting pumped in from the south. Another cold front will finally sweep the rain out of the region on Friday.

The Storm Prediction Center has part of WABBLES in a marginal risk (1/5) for severe weather starting Wednesday, as we continue to see those showers and storms move through.

A beautiful weekend is in store for WABBLES as temperatures begin to cool and the skies clear once again. Some high pressure will also move in that will keep us cool and dry this weekend. So don’t fret, calmer weather will return after this rainy week is finished!

As always, remember to stay weather aware as we continue through the active spring season, especially tonight and this week, as we may see the occasional strong storm. If you haven’t already, you can give us a follow on our social media to stay up to date with the ever-changing weather. Stay safe, WABBLES! Until next time…

We’ll be back with another blog tomorrow, so stay tuned! (Giphy)
