WABBLES it’s the name of the game out there this week. We’ve been dealing with sunny skies and temperatures in the upper 70’s, what a time to be outside. With that would April be without some showers. I’m sure all of you have had enough of the April showers after what we got at the beginning of the month, and this won’t be anywhere near that. Just a little something to get those flowers ready to bloom. Let’s lock in and see what we’ve got going on this week.
Today’s Weather
Today will be just like the last few days we’ve had. High in the upper 70’s and sunshine to get the day going. When you wake up temperatures will be in the low 50’s. WABBLES spring shows her colors today as some of you may see a spotty shower or thunderstorm late this evening. Nothing to worry about just a little soaker as the warm front works its way into the area.
Closing out the week
As we look to close to out the week starting on Thursday, these showers and thunderstorms persist. As we have a nice warm sector set up with warm temperatures and nice dewpoints, we’ll see these showers for most of our day tomorrow. Our temperatures look to be around the mid 70’s, and these thunderstorms look to continue through the overnight.
Friday’s a similar story with on and off showers and thunderstorms throughout the course of the day. A high temperature in the mid 70’s as we continue these April showers into Saturday. Overall, we’re looking at less than an inch of rain in most places however some areas may see isolated higher amounts through Saturday. As we creep up on the month of May the Climate Predication Center has put out their month of May outlook, and WABBLES I recommend taking it with a grain of salt. However, it has us in an average temperature pattern and an above average precipitation pattern for the month of May. We’ll just have to wait and see how it pans out but that’s what we have to look forward too.
