Good Tuesday morning, WABBLES! After a rainy start to the week, skies are clearing a bit, but not for long. Now that we are amid the spring swing season, warm, humid, and rainy days are on the menu for the rest of April. We will get into the timing of these rain chances in this blog, so lets go ahead and dive in!

TODAY’S FORECAST
Now that some high pressure has settled over WABBLES, winds from the northeast will keep us drier than yesterday. We’ll see those temperatures reach back into the mid-70s today, another warm day for WABBLES! Skies will remain partly cloudy throughout the day, but will begin to clear out towards the evening hours, and our temperatures will dip back into the mid-50s.

What’s the Plan for the Week?
Wednesday will be another warm and a bit of a humid day for WABBLES as those clouds clear and let the sunshine through. However, rain chances increase as we head into Wednesday night as a warm front from the south begins to creep in.
Along with persistent rain, this front will bring back higher dewpoints, which will make it feel a little warmer than it is. Spring is in full force, and we are not missing any of it! We’ll continue to see on-and-off showers until Saturday, when the rain finally begins to leave the region for a bit, so keep those umbrellas close!

Once all this rain moves out of the WABBLES region beginning next week, we’ll be getting a good look at another preview of summer. Temperatures will soar into the mid-80s at times next week! The Climate Prediction Center has WABBLES in a high probability for above-average temperatures, while our precipitation outlook stays slightly above.
