Good Tuesday morning, WABBLES! Following a windy and warm start to the week, cooler and more stable conditions have returned to WABBLES. This week will remain relatively pleasant as we prepare for another couple rounds of storms this weekend. Buckle up for the spring swings, and without further ado, let’s get into the details of this week!

TODAY’S FORECAST

As that cold front pushed through last night, WABBLES will be waking up to some much cooler temperatures today. Although we’ll be seeing some calmer, sunny skies, highs will remain in the lower 60s with a chilly breeze from the northwest. Temperatures will dip back down into the lower 40s as we head into the overnight hours, another chilly night for WABBLES.

Calm week; Messy Weekend

The rest of this week will have a similar setup to today: calm, mostly cloudy skies and comfortable temperatures in the 60s-70s. Friday will warm back up, but at what cost?  As a new low-pressure system moves in and to the north, along with warmer temperatures, we will be provided with another opportunity for some mild rain and storms this weekend.

These storms will move into the WABBLES region late Friday night into Saturday morning. Similar to the system we had a couple of weekends ago, this front will sit and stay over the area. Fear not, though; rainfall amounts will stay considerably low as this system will produce rain on and off throughout the weekend. So, prepare for some dreary weather to end the week!

Even though it’s only April, we’ll soon be seeing those summer temperatures start to creep in as we warm up. The Climate Predication Center is adamant about WABBLES being above-average temperatures for next week. We will also see slightly more precipitation than normal as we gear back up for some more April showers!
