WABBLES as we continue to dry out from the record-breaking rain, I hope you still have those umbrellas handy. We’re looking at small rain event to impact our already soaked area. To go with this, we’re still looking at these milder temperatures we got going on to close out the week. So, get ready for it all as we have what to expect heading into the weekend in today’s blog.

WedneSDAY WEather
Waking up this morning you probably felt that early morning chill as those cold mornings continue across WABBLES. We do look to be a little warmer today as we will reach the mid 60’s. Winds will be calm and clouds will develop throughout the day. Another quiet day for some more of that water to retreat before the rain begins.
Tonight, we may see some rain and possible thunderstorms rolling in. These will occur overnight into the morning hours and the largest impact will just be isolated heavy rain in already flooded locations. Our temperatures will drop into the upper 40’s.

What’s ahead
Thursday we may see some scattered showers in morning with a break heading towards the afternoon. These could pop back up as thunderstorms into late afternoon and into the evening as a cold front drags back down cooling us off. WABBLES we are under a 1/5 risk on Thursday with the biggest threat being wind and hail. The worst will remain to the south of us, however, be aware heading into Thursday. A warm front that has made its way in will bring temperatures into the upper 60’s and a milder morning with temperatures in the upper 40’s will make getting out of bed a little easier.

I have bad news about Friday, that warm front didn’t last long. Well below average temperatures continue to control WABBLES, with a high in the mid 50’s that Kentucky weather never ceases to surprise us. heading into the weekend we finally start getting back to where we were before the storms.
Looking ahead to see what direction our pattern is heading, we see it starts to normalize. Average April temperatures here in Kentucky is 70 degrees, and we see near normal temperatures and near normal precipitation. This is a sigh of relief for the WABBLES area to dry out.

That’s what we’ve got for you a little bit of rain, but nothing like what we just had. Some areas may see some isolated flooding as this adds to what we just got, so be safe while driving. Follow us on Twitter for any changes to the road conditions. Keep those jackets handy until we get through the weekend, and warmer weather is on the way just be patient. I would tell you all to stay dry, but I’m sure you’re all experts at that by now. Until next time WABBLES.
