Good morning, WABBLES! I hope you’re enjoying the much calmer weather compared to last week. We are still seeing the effects of the past storm system, as a flood warning is still in effect for the Barren River region. Although it’s been a bit chilly, we will soon be warming up again as we progress through the next couple of days. Another midweek disturbance is on the menu, but much tamer than the last. We will unfold the details later in this blog, but without further ado, let’s dive in!

ANOTHER STORM SYSTEM?
Of course, you can’t expect this calm weather to last very long in a Kentucky spring. Another storm system will be pushing into the WABBLES region Wednesday night. With this, a cold front will sweep in and bring some heavy rain and a couple of rumbles of thunder.

This is a much weaker storm than the last and does not pose as high of a severe risk. However, the Storm Prediction Center has the area under a marginal risk. With this storm is quite a bit of wind. A tightening pressure gradient will provide a path for some fast-moving wind, so watch out for some gusty winds Wednesday night into Thursday morning!
