Good morning WABBLES, as we enter into the middle of the work week, you’ll notice that fall and frost has arrived. Chilly times came to remind us of what month we are in, and some places may have seen their first freeze of the year this morning. Because of this we will discuss ways to keep your plants safe moving into tonight. We see this trend for tomorrow as well before we start to enter a warming period. But how warm will we truly get is the question ahead as we move ahead.

The frost is here (Tenor)

Todays Overview

Today started off a bit chilly as we saw some frost on the ground in some areas. We get some more sunshine today then we saw yesterday, and this will start to become a trend moving ahead. With our high being in the upper-50’s with a calm wind it will be similar to yesterday. Moving into tonight we will see those cooler temperatures in the low to mid-40’s for any of your mid-week activities.

Frosty Forecast

As we move into Thursday morning, we will see calm winds mixed with cooler temperatures to continue these mornings in the low 30’s. Thursday may start of cooler but moving into the mid-day highs will reach the low 60’s as this slow warm up continues on. The frost threat continues into Friday morning as some areas may see some patchy frost when they wake up. WABBLES when you wake up to this frost you want to make sure you protect your plants. This could be methods such as covering your plants or bringing them indoors. For other methods to ensure your plants make it through this freeze check out The National Gardening Association. However, as we move forward our frost chances decrease, and as a ridge moves in, we will start to see above average temperatures and the Climate Prediction Center supports this.

That’s all we have for you WABBLES, some colder days will meet us in the short term so dress appropriately. Make sure you stay warm and take care of those plants as we officially start to see fall temperatures. As the leaves continue to change go out and enjoy it. Stay frosty WABBLES until next time.
