Despite the wet Thursday we experienced, the showers won’t stick around for the entire weekend, but the temperatures will take us for a ride. Stay on your toes, our weekend starts now.

Friday
Our Friday commute will see slick roads with scattered showers throughout the morning hours. Cloudy skies will start to clear up mid-morning with high temperatures in the 60s. winds will be shifting to the northwest at 6-14mph during the afternoon hours. The skies clear up as we head into the overnight hours with lows in the 40s and calming northwestern winds.

Saturday
Clouds continue to decrease as we head into the morning hours giving us mostly sunny skies for the day. Temperatures are in the 70s for our region with a breezy south wind shifting west along with wind gusts up to 25mph. Few clouds will keep us company during the afternoon which is good news for those attending the Zombie Walk in Auburn, KY. Our overnight hours will consist of lows in the 40s and mostly clear skies with a northwestern breeze.

Sunday
Not much is going on in our region giving us a tranquil start to our Sunday. Mostly sunny skies with clouds here and there will come with highs in the 60s. Pristine weather to go for that Sunday drive. A few more clouds appear on the horizon through the day resulting in mostly clear skies for the evening. Chilly low temperatures around 40 as we close in on the first frost.
