Good morning WABBLES and Happy Thursday! We hope you have enjoyed the weather yesterday, because more positive weather is on the way! Today will be mostly clear skies with temperatures rising gradually throughout the day, and cooling later towards the evenings.
Sunny Skies All Day
Today wil be warm with the sun beaming down over all of WABBLES. High pressure is the current regime over most of Western Kentucky, and will be continuing out for the next few days. Temperatures will reach into the upper 80’s today, with a low of 66 expected in the night. If there’s any outdoor plans, the next few days are the time to do it as Saturday night the nice weather will start to diminish…
Saturday/Sunday Outlook
Saturday night WABBLES can expect chances of rain showers to start increasing gradually heading into Sunday. A low pressure system will strengthen around Missouri and Iowa, pushing eastward towards the Ohio Valley. This will bring rain that will linger until around Tuesday/Wednesday, with chances of storms occurring as well.
3 Day Outlook
Aside from today, here’s a quick look into what to expect the next three days across WABBLES:
- Friday 6/16: Mostly sunny with a high of 91 expected around 4pm. Low of 63 expected around 11pm.
- Saturday 06/17: Sunny during the day with a high near 88 around 5pm. Chances of showers develop after midnight with a low of 63 early morning.
- Sunday 06/18: Chances of showers and thunderstorms will increase to about 50%, with a high of 86 near 5pm. Into the evening, showers will take place with a low of 67 early Sunday Morning.
