Happy Tuesday folks! I hope everyone has had a great start to the week so far. The weather this week looks to remain fairly calm with more sun in store for us.
Dry Conditions
Looking at the drought monitor for the state of Kentucky, we see much of the eastern half of the state is abnormally dry or in a moderate drought.
That map was released on the 8th of June, and much of the state finally saw rain this past Sunday that should have offered some relief. However, the next several days seem to be dry once again.
Sun, Sun, and more Sun
The forecast for the rest of the work week can be summed up by saying there will be plenty of sun with temperatures getting warmer every day. High pressure sets up shop over WABBLES keeping us quiet.
By the end of the week we will be seeing highs around 90 with the feels like temps likely being a bit higher than that. So, this week is perfect to be outside, swim, and anything of the sorts.
That will be it for this blog post folks! I hope everyone has a great rest of the week and enjoys the nice weather. Even though it is quiet, I encourage everyone to come and visit us at our social media accounts @wxrnotbg.
