Good morning WABBLES community, and Happy Thursday! I hope everyone has enjoyed this morning’s nice and cool temperatures, as they will be here again! Expect some early morning fog and more haze to continue throughout the day as well.

Relatively Quiet Weather Expected

A cold front from yesterday has brought more stability, making the WABBLES region more susceptible to fog in the early mornings, much like we all saw this morning. However, with slightly less moisture now from the cold front, fog is less likely to occur again tonight. However, due to the wind advection from Canada, we will continue to see more haze throughout today as a result of their occurring wildfires and smoke.

Today’s Overall Forecast

With the slightly cooler temperatures now in place, we can see temperatures today reaching near 80, and relatively calm winds. Skies will be hazy with some sun peeking through as well. Tonight there will continue to be haze and calm winds, with a low of 53. That’s way cooler than the temps we’ve been seeing lately. Maybe it’s time to go on a late night walk or take the hammock out!

The Weekend Outlook

This weekend, high pressure will begin to take over the Ohio Valley region again. With that being said, there will be a short time frame where the haze begins to clear on Saturday, when the high-pressure center is directly over WABBLES. A brief warm front will push through Saturday night through Sunday, bringing rain into the area. A cold front will come through shortly after, continuing to bring rain and even thunderstorm chances. Overall, expect showers heading into next week!

That’s all for today everyone! Today should be very nice to go on a walk, have a picnic, or whatever your heart desires! Don’t forget to follow our other social media platforms for the most recent weather updates!
