Blackhawk, SD Supercell Timelapse: Yesterday, just east of Black Hills National Forest in South Dakota, a beautiful, low-precipitation supercell thunderstorm developed. Two nights ago in Huron, South Dakota the temperature jumped from 73 degrees to 91 degrees in less than an hour. This rare phenomenon is known as a Heat Burst.
