Happy Monday morning, WABBLES! Spring keeps bouncing around like a 7-year-old on two espresso shots; it can never settle down and stick to a pattern! After a refreshingly cool end to the weekend, temperatures are already switching gears and heading back into that early-summertime pattern. Let’s go ahead and dive into this week’s forecast!

Today’s Forecast

As high pressure continues to slide eastward, northwest winds give WABBLES one more cool and comfortable day. Morning temperatures start out chilly in the upper 40s before afternoon highs work their way into the mid to upper 60s.

Skies remain pleasant as ever, with calm and collected skies throughout the day. Clear skies allow evening temperatures to cool back into the upper 50s before settling in the mid-40s overnight.

Warming up the Week

An upper-level ridge begins to build across the region, keeping skies calm and temperatures warm for the next few days. For our terrific Tuesday, the warm-up becomes more noticeable. Our good old southwest winds return, helping afternoon temperatures climb back into the mid to upper 70s.

Dewpoints remain relatively low for the first half of the week, keeping the warm weather less muggy and more enjoyable. Tuesday evening temperatures fall back into the low 60s before settling into the mid-50s overnight.

By Wednesday, the 80s are back as southwest winds continue to pump warm air into the region. Mostly clear skies and breezy southwest winds continue to provide the perfect weather for enjoying the outdoors.

Jumping to the latter half of the week, the upper-level ridge finally begins to subside. By Friday and Saturday, moisture surges back into the region, and an expected cold front helps bring back WABBLES‘ rain chances.

This week’s warming temperatures and lack of moisture-rich air offer no aid in alleviating our severe drought conditions, though. We’ll continue to monitor the latter half of the week’s potential soggy setup, but for now, enjoy the warmth and sunshine!
