I know we’ve seen the average temperatures return, and it brings a bit of a chill to the air. Hear me out, the pressure is building, and the temperatures are rising. That’s right, folks, the sunshine is back in business as we continue to watch spring unfold.

Pressure is on the rise (Tenor)!

Today’s Weather

Just like yesterday, the forecast is about as good as I can give everyone. We’re looking at a cool morning with temperatures in the low 40’s with some clouds that’ll move out by mid-morning. This will give way to all the sunshine you could ask for, and a high in the mid 70’s.

We could see some winds pick up heading into tonight with some gusts upwards of 20mph, and our temperatures dropping into the low 60’s as we close out our day.

Southerly winds carrying warmer temperatures (COD).

High Pressure holdout

Tomorrow, I hope you like sunny and 75 degrees, because that’s what the high pressure has baking for us. We may see some morning clouds, but that would be about all the noise and nonsense we would see. Our nighttime temperatures tomorrow will drop into the upper 50’s.

Friday is mostly looking like the past few days around here. Our high for the day will reach the upper 70’s by the afternoon with a little bit of southwesterly flow. We’ll see sunny skies for most of the day as well, another great forecast day. Things may get a little damp in the overnight hours heading into Saturday, with a weak cold front rolling across the area. Scattered showers and accumulation look to be limited heading into Saturday morning.

Some showers as that front rolls on top of the area (COD).

Looking at the weekend, high pressure sticks around and we’ll see plenty of sunshine. Saturday will show larger temperature gradients across the area due to the frontal boundary, but Sunday we’re looking to crank the heat back up to the 80’s. Rain chances look to pick back up as we head into next week.

Looking a little damp next week (CPC).

WABBLES, that’s the story for you, take in all the sunshine this week and enjoy the warmer temperatures that are back. Stay updated on our Twitter for updates on the Friday night rain chances, but overall, things will remain quiet. Have a great rest of your week, folks.

Chill out and enjoy the sunshine (Tenor)!
