Welcome back, WABBLES. I hope you all are having a great start to your week. We have definitely started on the cooler side, but our temperatures are still climbing to the peak for the week. I know you’re struggling to pick outfits for the week because Kentucky weather can’t pick a mood, and with this week, it’s no different. Let’s jump right into all we have for this week.

Today’s Weather
Looking at our Wednesday, we continue to climb in temperatures much more noticeable each day. Today is no exception, we’re looking at a high in the mid 70’s today, continuing the very warm March that we’ve had. We will see some high-level clouds move in, but overall, we should be mostly sunny today.

Tonight, temperatures will hit a low of around 61 degrees, a perfect night for some grilling. There is a chance for some scattered overnight showers and thunderstorms, however this isn’t heavily supported.

The roller coaster hits the peak
Thursday, WABBLES, we continue to trek up our climb to warmer temperatures. We’re looking at a high in possibly the mid-80s. That is wild considering the normal for this time of year is nearly 20 degrees cooler. With that we should see sunny skies for most of the day on Thursday. Now that’s the peak, next comes the fall.

The risk for severe weather on Thursday night looks to remain to our north. Currently, all of WABBLES is only in a general thunderstorm risk, but even thunderstorms are pushing it. We can thank the environment for running out of gas before the storms get here.

We look to remain clear with the front and our rain coming through Friday afternoon. Friday, we will see our temperatures start out in the low 60’s in the morning and drop to the 40’s by the late afternoon and evening.

This weekend, we’re looking at high pressure setting up, and while it will be cooler on Saturday, it will be sunny. By Sunday, WABBLES, our temperatures will climb back up to the well-above-average range. That’s something that we will continue to see through next week, the Climate Prediction Center puts us as a part of this big above-average range dome that spans across the country. We’ll have to see where next week’s peak in temperatures ends up.

WABBLES, I hope you like warm weather because it’s in season and it isn’t looking to stop. We do have to deal with the pesky cold front, but those temperatures will rebound before you know it. Stay updated with the timing of showers on our Twitter. I hope you all go out and soak up all the lovely weather, and I’ll catch you all later.
