Good Monday morning, WABBLES! This past weekend’s beautiful, warm weather and the incoming spring foliage have really spiced up the spring-like vibe across the region! However, spring swings are back in action as those warm, 80s temperatures have been swept away… for now.
Today’s Forecast
Thanks to last night’s cold front, morning temperatures are back down in the upper 40s. Luckily, with increasing sunshine, afternoon highs are expected to return to the upper 50s to low 60s, with a cool breeze out of the north.
Skies remain calm heading into the evening, and temperatures begin to cool back into the upper 40s. Overnight, temperatures drop into the upper 30s, making for a chilly night in WABBLES.
Warming up the Week
If you are enjoying the spring vibes, then you are in luck. This week remains rather calm and pleasant as high pressure holds strong in WABBLES.
However, you may want to keep the jacket handy as cool, Tuesday morning lows hang around the upper 30s. Sunny skies quickly swing afternoon temperatures back into the low 60s, accompanied by a nice, light breeze.
Tuesday evening temperatures remain cool with temperatures in the upper 50s, before overnight temperatures fall into the mid-40s.
By Wednesday, winds begin to shift to a southwest flow, allowing for high temperatures to climb back into the 70s. Still, the beautiful spring weather holds strong, but clouds begin to increase throughout Wednesday afternoon.
The dry trend comes to a halt as rain chances begin to increase early Thursday morning. Another disturbance is expected to move through the region, sparking up light showers throughout some parts of the WABBLES region.
Any showers will quickly move out of the region, and clouds will quickly decrease throughout the morning. Southwest winds and plentiful sunshine allow temperatures to climb back into the mid-80s Thursday afternoon!
Of course, we can’t have such warm, moist spring weather in WABBLES without some activity following closely behind. A developing low-pressure system is expected to move in on Friday, bringing another round of showers and storms through the region.
Behind this system, cooler temperatures fill in. WABBLES ends the work week on another cool note with weekend temperatures back in the 40s and 50s.
