WABBLES, good morning on this stormy Wednesday. It really is feeling like spring in the area with temperatures well above average and severe weather days. But once this cold front passes today what will be left of our spring temperatures once this clears and what comes next, we have all those answers in today’s blog.

We’ve got some storms on the menu today (Tenor).

Today’s Weather

Today we’re looking at the possibility of strong to severe storms. The Storm Prediction Center has us in a 2/5 slight risk, with all hazards on the table, but damaging wind gusts looks to be our main hazard. What this looks like for us is this morning thunderstorms and tornado watch look to remain to our north. We’ll see showers early this morning, becoming thunderstorms by the late morning and early afternoon.

Storms today look to stay clustered with a linear band associated with the cold front (COD).

Temperatures for today look to hit the mid 70’s for a high, but once that cold front passes by this evening, we’ll drop to the 40’s. Non-convective wind will also be nuisance today with gusts upwards of 30-35 mph ahead of the cold front today.

A bit breezy for WABBLES today (COD).

WABBLES Clears out

What becomes left of our beautiful spring once the cold front passes through, WABBLES. Well, Thursday morning we start of our day with lows in the 30’s, so you’re going to want to break back out that jacket. We will warm back up to the mid 50’s by Thursday afternoon. Cloud cover will start to break close to noon and become sunny for the rest of the day.

Temperatures have a midweek crash out (COD).

On Friday another low-pressure system will pass through to our north and it looks to start dragging in some more of the warmer air. Our high for Friday looks to hover around 60 which is normal for this time of year. We may see some clouds hanging around Friday, but we look to remain mostly sunny.

What happens to our lovely spring weather? WABBLES, I hate to say it, but it looks like you may have to keep that light jacket out for just a bit longer. Heading into next week our temperatures look to go below average, which for this time of year is in the low 60’s. We could be looking at highs in the 40’s and lows in the 30’s to start next week.

Our precious warmer weather has been massacred next week (CPC).

WABBLES, Mother Nature is flipping the season switch and we are at her mercy. Stay updated with our social media today for any updates on the strong to severe storms as they pass through. Dust off that jacket for next week folks and I’ll catch you later.

See you all later (Tenor).
