Good Tuesday Morning my friends! I hope everyone is doing well after the rounds of rain and storms we experienced last night and that are currently ongoing. We have more rain and storms to track for today as well as another low-end severe weather threat. Yay… more storms already in 2023.

Current
Well this has been a fun night hasn’t it folks? We had plenty of rain, lightning, and a few too many warnings to keep us all up around WABBLES. The good news, however, is that overall we are not dealing with any serious damage from any of the storms. We have more rain on the way, but that is easier to deal with, more storms already in 2023.

Speaking of rain, the Kentucky Mesonet has done a great job tracking the ridiculous rainfall amounts. We see the highest rainfall amounts in Butler County with not nearly as much in Allen County.

Today
Rainfall with embedded thunderstorms will continue to move their way through the area and eventually taper off this afternoon. We will be looking at the potential for a few more pop up showers/storms later into the overnight. If storms do develop, they shouldn’t be anything too crazy to worry about. Again, more storms already in 2023.
Wednesday – Friday
Wednesday, especially in the morning hours, will feature scattered remnants of today’s storm chances. Nothing to worry about by any means, these will just be a nuisance for whoever finds themselves underneath one around WABBLES. Once again, more storms already in 2023.

Thanks to the cold front passing through, temps will start out warm around 60 Wednesday Morning and drop into the lower 40s by Wednesday Evening/Overnight. We’ve got to love those temperature swings!

High pressure will quickly build in behind that cold front leading to an uneventful Thursday and Friday with highs in the upper 40s and plenty of sunshine for a change around WABBLES.

That will be all for today my friends! I hope everyone has a great rest of your day and that everyone can stay dry. Keep it tuned here for the latest on our social media sites linked below.
Have a blessed day!
