Good Wednesday Morning everyone and happy hump day! we are that much closer to the weekend and even closer to the first day of Fall tomorrow. This first day of fall will be met with a much appreciated cool down and some rain chances to go along with it.
Today, on the last day of Summer, well let’s just say mother nature is truly giving us one last taste of Summer. The biggest headline for today will be the HEAT. It is pretty clear that highs across WABBLES will be reaching the mid-90s, but whether or not they can push into the upper 90s is more unclear.
The area of uncertainty is being caused by disagreement in the models for scattered rain/storm chances this afternoon. If we don’t see any rain and little cloud cover, we could easily dip into the upper 90s. If, on the flip side, we see a good amount of cloud cover and scattered rain, our highs will likely stay in the mid 90s. All in all, be prepared for a very hot day with low and isolated rain/thunderstorm chances.
First Day of Fall
Congratulations! You made it to the lovely Fall season. On this day we will be expecting a cold front to have dropped through the area overnight Wednesday into very early Thursday Morning which will limit highs from getting out of the 70s (THANK THE LORD).
Along with these much cooler temps, we will have better chances at scattered rain in combination with overall partly cloudy conditions. I expect the first half of the day to hold better chances of seeing scattered showers, with the afternoon seeing only isolated chances.
Friday will feature a nice, quiet, and even a bit cooler of a day. Having the strong high pressure setting up shop to the north over the Great Lakes, expect plenty of sunshine and highs in the mid-70s.
That will be it for today folks! I hope everyone hs a great rest of your day and that everyone stays as cool as possible. Linked below will be our social media sites which I encourage you to visit for more up-to-date weather information!
Have a blessed day!
