Happy Monday to all of you out there across WABBLES! I hope everyone had a great weekend and is ready for the new week ahead. As far as weather goes, we will have plenty of rain chances throughout this week.
The weather today will feature a slowly advancing cold front from the north that will bring chances for rain and thunderstorms. It looks like we will be seeing clusters of storms for this episode. These storms should really get going in the afternoon as the cold front gets closer and we are at peak heating for the day.
Temps today will still be quite hot as highs should easily hit 90 before storms get going and help cool things off quite a bit.
Tuesday will feature that cold front I mentioned earlier begin to stall out become pretty much stationary over the region. This will help cause our next round of rain and thunderstorm chances. This forecast will get a little trick, however, because the location of where the front stalls out will determine the area with higher chances for storms.
Given this tricky forecast and the fact that this should stall out somewhere over Central KY, you should expect more clusters of storms moving through the area around the afternoon timeframe. The SPC does have us under another Marginal Risk (level 1/5) for severe weather. This will again be for damaging wind concerns.
Switching gears to Wednesday, that pesky front that will be stalled out over us will finally lift northward as a warm front bringing more scattered storm chances. That warm front won’t have too much of an impact over us and only increase highs by a couple of degrees into the lower 90s again.
That will be all for this blog post my friends! I hope everyone has a great day out there and stays dry. I encourage you all to come give us a visit on our social media sites linked below for more up to date weather info.
Have a blessed day!
