Good morning, WABBLES! After enjoying a day of plentiful sunshine with mild temperatures, most of us will be in for a rude awakening with what today’s and the coming day’s weather has to offer. We unfortunately won’t see much in the way of sun over the next couple days, but rather a dreary start to the week.
As if Monday’s weren’t already a drag, it will be hard to fight off the typical case of Monday blues with today’s weather. Walking out the door, there will already be a deck of cloud cover that will remain throughout the day. Rain showers will move into the region around the 8-9AM frame depending on if you are on the east or west sides of town. These showers will be scattered and of moderate intensity into the afternoon and evening hours.
The high today will top out in the mid-60s with light winds of around 10mph. Overnight, expect mostly cloudy conditions to persist with the chance of rain remaining and a low dipping down to around 50 degrees.
Tuesday and Wednesday
Tuesday, a low-pressure system will approach the region which will bring even heavier showers and a few thunderstorms, especially in the afternoon hours. About a half inch of rain is expected on Tuesday, but we won’t be in the clear just yet as another round is expected come Wednesday. More on that later on. The high on Tuesday will be in the mid-60s with a low around 53 degrees. Overnight, expect it to be mostly cloudy with a slight chance of showers.
Wednesday, a cold front will move through the region which will provide for more rain showers to dump on WABBLES. The rain showers will begin around 9AM and last until about sunset on Wednesday. Expect an additional quarter of an inch to half an inch to fall on Wednesday.
For the remainder of the week, expect mostly sunny skies on Thursday and slight rain chances on Friday.
That’s all for today! Be sure to follow our live weather feed on Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat. Have a great week!
