Happy Sunday everyone! I hope you’ve had an enjoyable and relaxing weekend so far. It’s definitely been a dreary one with stubborn clouds hanging around, but the sun is finally returning after a cloudy stretch.
Typical Winter Weather for New Week
As everyone can probably tell at this point, we haven’t been very active weather-wise. A very slow-moving high pressure is keeping things quiet around here. Unfortunately, it has also kept us covered in considerable cloudiness.
That streak looks to continue into today with mostly cloudy skies. Temperatures also remain on the chilly side with highs struggling to surpass 40°.
Temperatures get even cooler into the overnight hours with lows dipping into the mid 20’s! Clouds will linger as well, even into Monday. Partly cloudy skies will highlight the new work week, with temperatures also remaining in the low 40’s.
Clouds Finally Get Kicked Out
Interesting weather could swing through on Monday night as a low pressure treks to our south. Right now things are very uncertain and models are having a hard time agreeing, but at the moment we are looking to stay on the drier side with only a few flurries possible.
Even if we don’t get any snow, this low pressure will finally drive those clouds out! Sunnier weather looks to return on Tuesday, and temperatures even warm up slightly into the mid 40’s.
Glorious sunshine looks to stick with us through the rest of the week, which will give us a nice refresher from the dreary last few days.
That finishes today’s forecast. Thanks for reading! Follow our live weather feed @wxornotBG, as well as on Facebook, for all your weather updates. Have a great Sunday!
