Good Monday morning, everyone! I hope your weekend was well. Back to a new week! It was a very pleasant day yesterday for late December, but an overnight cold front knocked temperatures back down. This week clouds linger ahead of an approaching storm.
Chilly Today and Tomorrow
We had a cold front roll through last night that brought some scattered showers to the area, but left us this morning with some chilly air. As of 6:30 AM, temperatures are at 46°.
Highs today don’t look to get much warmer, with temps remaining in the mid 40’s. However, a high pressure will have also taken over, which will keep things dry. Partly cloudy skies are expected today as a result.
Partly cloudy conditions follow us into the overnight hours as lows drop into the cold upper 20’s. Tuesday’s forecast doesn’t look much different, with those pesky clouds sticking around as the next storm gathers strength in the Great Plains.
Tuesday’s highs also look to end up in the mid 40’s, which is typical December weather. Changes come as we look towards midweek.
Temps Rise Ahead of Rain
Wednesday will feature more clouds than sun as the low pressure closes in. However, we can expect to remain dry. Temperatures, on the other hand, look to warm up back to near 60°!
Wednesday night is when we can expect the showers to start rolling in, and we can expect Thursday to stay wet as well as we see the bulk of the showers.
That finishes today’s forecast. Thanks for reading! Follow our live weather feed @wxornotBG, as well as on Facebook, for all your weather updates. Enjoy your Monday!
