Good morning, and happy Thursday, Bowling Green! I sincerely hope you are all doing well this week. Sunny skies are ahead for the upcoming weekend, but accompanied by well-below average temperatures. Details below:
Today will be seasonal…
Ahead of the cooldown expected for the weekend, temperatures will remain seasonal for the upcoming business day. Temperatures will climb out of the middle-to-upper 60s this morning, and top out around 82-83° this afternoon. Dry conditions and clear skies will dominate today’s weather picture!
The Cool Air Arrives!
At last! The cooler air begins to move in to end the workweek. You’ll surely notice this change stepping out your door Friday morning, as temperatures will be starting out around a crisp 50° across W.A.B.B.L.E.S. From there, temperatures rise gradually, but will only make it to a modest lower 70-degree high temperature for the afternoon. Passing clouds will be present throughout the day, however, chances for rain are virtually non-existent, so a beautiful day appears to be in store!
Winds will become northwesterly during the daytime hours on Friday, causing cooler temperatures to overspread the area for the entirety of the weekend ahead.
The Weekend Outlook
SATURDAY: The coolest day of the next several, Saturday will begin with temperatures that bottom out as low as the UPPER 40s! Phew! Feel like Fall yet?
As the day progresses, temperatures will rebound to manage an afternoon high somewhere around 70° area-wide. Sunshine will be plentiful, with clear skies overhead for the majority of not just Saturday, but for the entire weekend as well!
SUNDAY: The second half of the weekend will practically be a repeat of the first, with sunny skies, and few, if any clouds present throughout the day! Temperatures will start once again in the upper 40s, and climb gradually throughout the day to top out around 70-73° across our south-central Kentucky counties.
