Looks like our lucky streak of dry weather is about to run out as scattered storms are expected today followed by dry but windy conditions tomorrow.
Scattered Showers and Storms Expected Today
Pack that umbrella as you head out the door. On and off showers and storms are likely from the late morning through the overnight hours while temperatures remain in the muggy mid 70’s for afternoon highs.
The strongest storms are possible this morning with a low, though nonzero of a damaging wind gust or some small hail occurring. The storms this afternoon and tonight could produce some claps of thunder, but plain, old heavy rain looks to be the greater threat.
Windy and Dry Tomorrow
Thanks to a cold front, the clouds look to clear out by mid-morning tomorrow, but usher in windy conditions.
High temperatures will climb to the low 70’s under sunny skies for a nice spring day if you don’t get blown away!
Mostly Dry and Cooler Weekend
Don’t forget that jacket if heading out early Saturday morning as we will start off in the chilly mid 40’s.
Overall, Saturday looks for a pretty great day for any outdoor activities. Highs will reach the low 70’s once again under cloudy skies perhaps punctuated by a brief chance of showers in the late afternoon.
Keep the jacket on hand again for Sunday as highs slip back to the chilly mid 60’s under sunny skies. Highs look to return to near 80 with limited chances of rain for the start of next week.
That’s it for me: have a great day follow @wxornotBG for the latest updates on today’s storms.
